Apple Pay lets you, the customer, pay easily and securely. Apple Pay offers an accelerated checkout process. When a customer pays for their order using Apple Pay, they don't need to manually enter their credit card information or shipping address. The customer taps the Apple Pay button and scans their fingerprint.

  • What devices support Apple Pay?

To access the Apple Pay button, you must use one of the following devices:

  • iPhone (SE, 6, 6 Plus, or newer)
  • iPad (Pro, Air 2, mini 3, or newer)
  • Apple Watch
  • MacBook Pro with Touch ID
  • Any Mac model (2012 or newer) plus an Apple Pay-enabled iPhone or Apple Watch
  • What credit cards can be used with Apple Pay?

To use Apple Pay, you must add your credit card information to your Apple Pay wallet. If your credit card is not accepted you are not able to purchase using Apple Pay. The credits cards currently accepted are Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

  • What if I receive an error message when checking out with Apple Pay on a Mac computer?

If you receive an error message after trying to check out with Apple Pay on a Mac, then there might be a communication problem between your phone and your computer. To verify connectivity, the customer must make sure the phone and the computer meet the following setup requirements:

  • They are close to each other.
  • Bluetooth is turned on.
  • They are both logged in to the same iCloud account.
  • What are shipping limitations with Apple Pay?

Due to partial postal code availability from Apple Pay, carrier-calculated shipping rates in certain remote regions of Canada might be calculated incorrectly. Most Canadian addresses are not affected by this issue.

  • What is Meta Pay?

Meta Pay enables you, the customer, to pay easily and securely using an accelerated checkout process. When customers are logged on to Facebook, they can speed through checkout with their stored credentials and there is no need for them to sign in again. Plus, payment card numbers are encrypted for secure storage. The customer taps the Meta Pay button and then Meta Pay provides that information to the payment provider.

  • What are the requirements for customers to use Meta Pay?

To use Meta Pay for purchases, you, the customer, need to be using an IP address based in the United States, and one of the following browsers:

  • Safari or Chrome for desktop
  • Safari for iOS
  • Chrome for Android
  • What is the customer experience using Meta Pay?

When a you, the customer, visit the online store using a supported browser, you have an accelerated checkout option using the Meta Pay button. If you tap the Meta Pay button, then your billing and shipping information appears. You can change your information before you complete your purchase if required.

If you have the Facebook app installed, then the app is used to authenticate your purchase. Otherwise, you can authenticate using a browser.

  • What payment methods are available to customers when they checkout on an online store with the Meta Pay button?

You, the customer, can load your preferred credit or debit card to Meta Pay. Additional payment methods will be added over time.

  • What is Google Pay?

Google Pay lets you, the customer, pay easily and securely using an accelerated checkout process. When a customer pays for their order by using Google Pay, they don't need to manually enter their credit card information or shipping address.   • What is the customer experience using Google Pay?

When a customer visits the store, a button with the Google Pay logo appears. If the customer has the Google Pay app installed, then they can tap the button to make a purchase with Google Pay. After they tap the button, their billing and shipping information appears. The customer then has to authenticate to conclude the purchase.
